Her current exhibition, In Search of Happiness, currently on display at Triveni Gallery, Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi is a collection of her works since 2014 that marked the beginning of both an uninhibited introspective coupled with extrovert phases relative to her past. The flux has been a source of joy and happiness, which she attempts to capture in the art work.

Having studied in the Hills of Himachal (Lawrence School, Sanawar) and Kasturba Medical College, Namita had the advantage of being close to nature and learn from the serene environment around her.

Friendship Days

A self-taught artist, Namita Karna, says the USP of her art form is the imaginative form and composition mixed along with the color juxtaposition for the overall thought.

“Senses respond to their respective stimuli and for me personally colors are the medium through which I can create maximum visual enticement and joy for myself as well as the viewer. This is my first Solo show. The days prior were exciting, anxious and nervous. Also a sudden burst of ideas, creativity and experimentation preceded a few weeks prior to the exhibition,” says the artist.
